it's so sweet and nice that you take requests and what beautiful icons you make too :D i normally make my own icons but for the longest time i've been wanting someone else to make me one. i want a cute anime pic with that neat underwater effect in the background. something really cheerful and cute, preferably laughing. i guess i'm no help since i can't provide a pic huh? i'm in no hurry to get an icon like this so to make it easier, if you ever come across something like that can you make me one? otherwise don't worry about it. oh and text, font, colors, style etc. to your liking. you're very creative XD

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late..!! Blah, it's either too late or not, but I figured I'd try anyhow. ^^ Thanks muchly!! I hope it's not too complex..o.O;

text: first.."haunted" kinda big and sort of glowing, (maybe?) towards the left side of the picture and a little towards the bottom, but not exactly along the trim, you know? so that it leaves room for the smaller text, which is "by the lies that wove the web" fading into "inside my haunted head" and over again. Is that possible?

Hi, I'd like to request an icon... I've never done this and not sure what you want, so if I'm wrong, let me know?

I hope that you can do these icons, I know I'm going to be kinda picky about the details, but I really want it to look great :D I'm sure you have good taste though :)

#1:I want an icon that's like the one I have now, but instead of an actual shooting star on there, I want like one of those stars that you make in photoshop with a slight tail and maybe some movement?

I'd like it to say what my current icon says in the same places and the same color, but a little more swirly/cursivy font and maybe some blinky letters..?

i'd like the star with a tail (like a shooting star) with maybe a swirly at the end? Its up to you - whatever you think looks good. :)

I'd like the star itself to be a whiteish/greyish to match the moon pic on my Lj background, and then the background of the icon to be navy blue to match my Lj background.

#2: I'd like this picture with just little sparkly things on like 3 spots on the moon. So it looks like it's shimmering.

#3: And i'd also like this picture to be cropped so that just the shooting star and a few tree branches are in it, and then for it to say "starlight.." in white cursivy font in the top left corner, and then "starbright..." written in the same font in the bottom right. And is it possible to have a little twinkle at the end of each word? :)

I was wondering, how did you get the sparkly effects on those icons posted below and how did you do the text effects on the icon that says "I'd like to taste a piece of heaven?

:3; One more question -- what all fonts do you use, and where can I find them? :D I'd like to learn more about how to make awesome icons like yuu~! :D

Aww.. ^_^ *glompish* ..Thanks!! I make a sparkly effect by using the default "sparkle" brush in PSP7. oo; Then I just change the opacity of it in every frame and paste the frames into Jasc Animation Shop, so that it appears the sparkle is glowing-kinda. XD; The text color is merely changed by order of hue, so that it appears a glow is flowing through the words of the icon. xx; Does that make sense?

As for the font sites I use; Fontmagic and Dafont are great sources to use. Specific font types:

04b - bitmap/smallfont
04b_03b - bitmap/smallfont
4YEOstamp - grungy/broken
After Shok - grungy/broken
Brokenbaby - grungy/broken
Fat - self-explanitory. oo;
redensek - bitmap/smallfont
porcelain - flowy/script
Schindler Small Caps - caps/headlines
